The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program is a federal grant program designed to assist high-performing charter schools with rent, lease, debt service, and Proposition 39 pro-rata payments or costs related to purchase, acquisition, design, new construction, and renovation.  The Authority is currently administering its third grant of $50 million, bringing the total award to $150 million.

The State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program Proposed Permanent Regulation

Pursuant to Government Code, Section 11346.4, CSFA is providing Notice of its proposed rulemaking action for purposes of amending the State Charter School Facilities Incentive Grants Program regulations. The 45-day public comment period begins August 4, 2017 and ends on September 18, 2017. Please refer to the “Notice of Proposed Rulemaking Action” for further information on registering comments, concerns, or recommendations.
